2025-2026 Boys' and Girls' Basketball & Cheerleading

BOYS' BASKETBALL

Coplay Sports offers teams for players in grades Kdg through 12th. Players are placed on the following teams according to age first, then further broken down by ability as follows:

Kdg - 2nd : In-house, instructional play. Learn rules, basic skills and techniques of the game.

Recreational, Junior Varsity, and Lehigh Valley Basketball League (Horn and Lane Divisions) teams offered for:

3rd & 4th (Biddy)

5th & 6th (Jr. Cadet)

7th & 8th (Cadet)

9th & 10th

11th & 12th

Pre-Season open gym sessions begin a short time after the completion of registration to aide in proper team placement of players. Please make sure to check your email for information.

GIRLS' BASKETBALL

Coplay Sports will offer teams for players in grades Kdg. through 12th. Players are placed on the following teams according to age first, then further broken down by ability.

Registrants will be grouped into the following age levels:

Kdg - 2nd grades: Skills and Drills instruction.

3rd -4th, 5th - 6th, 7th-8th: Competitive Play

CHEERLEADING

Coplay Sports offers noncompetitive cheerleading for girls ages 5 to 14.

The cheerleaders perform at the Coplay Sports Boys' Biddy and Jr. Cadet Basketball games during the winter season. Coplay Sports is one of the few, if not only, youth organizations in the area that offers cheerleading for the basketball season. Cheerleaders will be grouped according to age, depending on registration numbers.

Cost

Boys and Girls Basketball is $150.00 for one participant and $50.00 for each additional family member that signs up. $50.00 of the registration, per family, can be refunded through fundraising.

Cheerleading is $115.00 for one participant and $15.00 for each additional family member that signs up. $50.00 of the registration fee is for the fundraising per family that you reimburse yourself for once you complete the fundraiser.

$50.00 Check will be needed at the time of uniform pickup for deposit. The check will not be cashed unless the uniform is not returned

Boys Basketball: Grades 7th through 12th MUST hand in a $50.00 check for uniforms. Once uniforms are returned at the end of the year, we will hand you back your check. Failure to return uniform will result in Coplay Sports keeping your $50.00 check. Checks must be made payable to Coplay Sports.
